Product Description

Make a striking statement with this handwoven Banarasi pure Katan silk saree in a vivid scarlet red. The lower hem and border present a detailed architectural weave of the historic Varanasi ghats—featuring temple spires, riverbanks, and delicate wave patterns rendered in silver and antique zari. Balanced with a champagne metallic woven pallu block, this piece is made for weddings, bridal trousseaus, grand festivities, and heritage collections.

Care Instructions

  • Strictly Dry Clean Only: Professional dry cleaning is required to protect the pure Katan silk yarns and intricate handwoven zari details.

  • Storage: Store flat in a cool, dark place wrapped in a clean, breathable cotton or muslin cloth. Avoid storing in plastic containers or polythene bags.

  • Refolding: Periodically unfold and air out the saree in a shaded room every few months, refolding along different crease lines to prevent permanent wear along the metallic threads.

  • Ironing: Iron on a low-heat silk setting on the reverse side using a protective cotton cloth over the saree. Never place a direct hot iron on metallic zari.

  • Handling: Apply liquid perfumes, sprays, or body mists directly to the skin and let dry completely before draping to avoid staining pure silk and tarnishing the zari.
