Care Instructions

  • Dry Clean Only: Professional dry cleaning is recommended for the first few washes to preserve the deep navy dye, cotton-silk drape, and metallic zari border.

  • Storage: Store flat inside a clean, breathable cotton or muslin garment bag in a cool, dry area. Avoid plastic covers and metal/wire hangers.

  • Refolding: Unfold and change the fold directions every 3 to 4 months to prevent fiber strain along the creases.

  • Ironing: Iron on a low-to-medium heat setting on the reverse side only, using a protective cotton cloth buffer over the metallic zari work.

  • Handling: Keep perfumes, hairsprays, deodorants, and direct moisture away from the saree to prevent tarnishing or oxidation of the gold zari.
